I shot my first sunset when visiting AZ in 1998 for a family friend’s wedding. I was so enraptured by it, I took a course in college but at the time, photography was an expensive hobby as digital cameras were not around yet. In early 2000, my brother handed down his Nikon D80 which was the perfect DSLR beginner camera. Seeing all the shots immediately got me out shooting more and more regularly and my love grew beyond bounds. There is still a lot I need to learn but each day is a new adventure with good and bad points… the biggest one being my super itchy trigger finger.  Being able to shoot WAAAY too many photos is great because it allows me more options to choose from and a better chance at the specific shot I’m imaging in my head. The only downside is too many to choose from!
